Africa-Press – Angola. Deputy commanders of the Patriotic Education bodies of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) are meeting in Cabinda to assess the degree of compliance with the recommendations of the last meeting and the activities carried out during the Year of Instruction 2022/2023.
During two days (9th and 10th of this month), participants to the 18th Methodological Meeting will also reflect on the process of restructuring, resizing and re-equipping the FAA, in particular, the Patriotic Education Bodies, as well as projecting the guidelines for the Year of Instruction 2023/2024.
At the opening session, the head of the Main Directorate of Patriotic Education of the General Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces, Lieutenant General António de Jesus Miguel José Fernandes, said that the patriotic educator has the matrix of educating, praising and censoring, supporting him whether in values such as patriotism, fidelity, loyalty, solidarity, firmness, courage, respect and camaraderie.
The meeting, which takes place at the Headquarters of the Cabinda Military Region (RMC), takes place under the motto “Strengthen the Patriotic Educational work within the Angolan Armed Forces to raise levels of discipline, organization and combat readiness”.
The heads of the Directorate for Patriotic Education, deputy commanders of the Military Regions for Patriotic Education and heads of the Planning and Organization Division of the Angolan Armed Forces were present at the meeting.
