Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of the MPLA in Lunda Norte, Deolinda Vilarinho, this Friday appealed to public servants to be guided by exemplary conduct, avoiding practices that jeopardize compliance with the Government program voted for in the last elections.
The official was speaking at the opening ceremony of the first provincial training seminar for the discipline, ethics and audit commissions of the Provincial Committee, and reiterated the need to continue to strengthen mechanisms for preventing crimes of embezzlement, corruption, money laundering, among others. others.
He added that it is necessary to improve mechanisms for monitoring budgetary management, in order to avoid possible deviations from the public purse.
He underlined that the last elections left clear indications on the need for a new dynamic in the materialization of actions aimed at the sustainable development of the country and the obligation to be ever closer to citizens, to better understand their aspirations.
He reiterated that the exercise of functions in the public administration requires that the duties of loyalty, impartiality, probity and others that are enshrined in various legal diplomas in force in the country be respected.
On the other hand, he appealed to the party’s militants to avoid messages that jeopardize the credibility of public institutions, peace, unity and national reconciliation.
