Africa-Press – Angola. The chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly, Suzana de Melo, assured that the institution will maintain its commitment to improving the working conditions of deputies from the provincial circle of Lunda Sul, with a view to their better performance.

Speaking to the press this Tuesday, at the end of a few hours’ working visit to Lunda Sul, he said that everything will be done to improve the accommodation conditions for the deputies.

According to Suzana de Melo, the National Assembly is available to work to include, in the 2024 General State Budget, the project for the building that will be erected in the city of Saurimo.

He referred that the new facilities aim to give greater dignity and working conditions to deputies residing in Lunda Sul, as is the case in other provinces of the country.

During their stay in Lunda Sul province, the delegation of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly had a meeting with the local governor, Daniel Neto, with the resident deputies and employees.

The delegation left, this Tuesday afternoon, for the province of Moxico, where, like in Lunda Sul, it will find out about the working conditions of the provincial nucleus of the National Assembly.
