Africa-Press – Angola. Insurance companies, present at the 5th edition of Expo-Indústria, in Luanda, call on industrialists to prioritize industrial multi-risk insurance because it guarantees security for all aspects of business.

According to the director of business development at Sanlam Angola Seguros, Henrique Raimundo, within the various insurance packages, his institution has industrial multi-risk because it insures all aspects of business, including interruption of activity, loss of profits and to the protection of key elements of the company.

Associated with these, he said, there is life insurance, worker protection (health insurance, work assistants and funeral) and insurance for machinery and its breakdowns, which must be complied with, within regional and international standards, guided by insurer.

With a collection of 3.6 billion kwanzas in 2021, the company guarantees, according to its manager, the safety of products, from national and imported raw materials, as well as their transformation to the final consumer, in almost all national territory .

“In this business segment, there are many risks and insurers propose to mitigate the risks that occur, such as overturning of trucks, with raw materials, fires in warehouses or factories, with huge losses, which if the industrialist does not have insurance, he will bear large losses. “, he said.

For the manager of insurance contracts at BIC Seguros, Miqueias Escrivão, for this business segment the institution represents behind integrated risk resolution solutions, accentuated in the industrial sector.

“The recommendation is multi-risk insurance, as it is very important in the safety of industrial assets that present risks depending on their area of ​​activity in aspects such as fires, floods, lightning strikes, explosions, among other situations”, he explained.

The 5th edition of Expo-indústria, which runs from March 29th to April 1st, in an area of ​​two thousand square meters of exhibition space, at ZEE – Luanda-Bengo, has 238 national and international exhibitors.
