Africa-Press – Angola. Igor Silva, from the Jair Transportes team, won Tuesday, in the municipality of Viana, in Luanda, the first edition of the “ProfiEsport Grand Prix” on a closed circuit, with a time of 44 minutes and 57 seconds.

In the immediate positions were Bruno Araújo (Bai Sicasal Petro) and Dário Antônio (ACT).

The race, part of the commemoration of the 4th of April, Day of Peace and National Reconciliation, started from the municipal administration of Viana, passing through the streets of 21 de Novembro, Moçambique and Saidy Mingas, on a 28 kilometer route.

The event, which began on Monday with an in-depth test, was witnessed by the municipal administrator of Viana, Demétrio de Sepúlveda.

The sporting activity aims to bring together the citizens of Viana in particular, as well as citizens in general in order to encourage adherence to sports practices within the Viana community.

This first edition had the participation of athletes from Petro de Luanda, Tchaco Cycling Team, Centro Ciclismo Cidade Kilamba, Team Sequele, Cd Kambas da Bicicleta do Zango 3, Clube Desportivo Racing Vial, Jair Transportes, Amadores do Ciclo-turismo, Feras do Maiombe, Cycling Alberto Silva Pepino, Kambas do Pedal de Luanda, in addition to individual runners.

The ProfiSport Grand Prix in Cycling becomes part of the federative calendar and of the Peace Day activities in the municipality of Viana.
