Africa-Press – Angola. The national senior women’s handball team won, this Monday, in Luanda, the similar junior team, by 52-25, taking advantage of the second IHF date of the year, which ends on Friday.
Without a competitive character, the challenge served to outline the respective international commitments, with Albertina Cassoma standing out with 9 goals scored.
The two teams will play again this Tuesday at 10 am, in the Multiusos pavilion.
This year, the senior team will compete, in Luanda, in the Pre-Olympic tournament, from 10 to 12 October, with similar teams from Congo, Cameroon and Senegal.
The national team will also compete in the World Cup co-organized by Denmark, Norway and Sweden, from the 17th to the 30th of December.
The junior team, on the other hand, is preparing to defend the continental title, in the Championship taking place from September 7th to 14th in Tunisia.
