MPLA recommends reinforcing youth moralization actions

Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, recommended Friday, in the municipality of Longonjo, the continued promotion of the campaign to moralize society, with a focus on young people, to free them from acts anti social.

The party official was speaking to militants from the commune of Lepi, within the framework of the Patriotic Day that the Secretary of the Executive Commission of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA takes place from the 5th to the 7th of this month, in the municipality of Longonjo.

Lotti Nolika said that it is necessary for youth to be increasingly moralised, from the perspective of the values of peace and the permanent search for social harmony, with a view to giving continuity to the strategic plans for socio-economic development and improvement of the population’s living conditions.

He referred that the society’s moralization campaign must, above all, involve social educators, churches, traditional authorities, families and MPLA militants, in order to stop any situation of insurrection in the communities.

“Peace is an indispensable good and it cost the sacrifice of many Angolans that many of them lost their lives in favor of the just cause of the Angolan people”, he highlighted.

The policy pointed out the need to reinforce the bonds of unity among the militants and the dissemination of social values, in order to discard “the incoherent political arguments that separate young people from normal coexistence, recommended for the well-being of communities”.

Lotti Nolika highlighted the social role of traditional authorities and churches in the education of young people, mainly in encouraging academic, technical-professional and cultural values training.

He promised that the MPLA in Huambo province will remain committed to solving the problems of the population, with a view to promoting socio-economic development.

The visit to the municipality of Longonjo, in the western corridor of Huambo province, is part of the action plan for organizing and strengthening basic structures, in addition to direct contact with militants and the population in general.
