Africa-Press – Angola. The exercise, according to the FAA General Staff source, is part of compliance with the directive of the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, João Lourenço.
The manoeuvre, which aims to train troops from the three branches of the FAA, namely the Army, the National Air Force and the Angolan Navy, will involve staff and technical means.
“The FAA must be prepared in peacetime. It is a normal process, within the framework of the calendar of FAA activities that take place annually and which only aims at training the troops”, explained Lieutenant General António Fernandes.
The military manoeuvre, which will be assisted by the President of the Republic, as Commander-in-Chief of the FAA, will take place under the motto “in peace we strengthen the Angolan Armed Forces”.
