Africa-Press – Angola. The president of UNITA, Adalberto Costa Júnior, defended, Wednesday, in Lubango, Huíla province, the need for the State to create more and more policies that open up opportunities for the insertion of young people in the labor market.

Speaking to a mass of militants in Lubango, he considered that this social challenge would contribute to reducing youth unemployment, which has spread throughout the country.

He also recognized that the government has been undertaking this process, in order to reduce unemployment levels, but in his opinion it is not enough.

He considered that this challenge should be a constant one, “as youth grows, as part of them are trained inside and outside the country and do not find the opportunity to get their first job”.

He also suggested the importance of holding Local Authorities in 2024, in order to contribute to a plural justice of Angolans, within the framework of the Democratic State and the rule of law, allowing future mayors to be able to help improve communication routes, basic sanitation, energy and water, health, education and others deemed to be priorities for each local council.

The agenda of the president of UNITA, who has been in Huíla since Tuesday, reserves for Thursday a trip to the municipality of Matala, 180 kilometers east of Lubango, where he will carry out the identical activity and on Friday he will be back to Luanda.
