Africa-Press – Angola. The free licensing campaign, in the municipality of Chitato, capital of Lunda Norte province, which started in April this year, has registered only the influx of motorcycle taxi drivers and taxi drivers.

The information was provided Friday, by the municipal director of Transport, Traffic and Mobility, Kito Pacaia, stressing that so far, no artisanal fishing vessel has been licensed, for unknown reasons.

The official appealed to the vessel owners to join the campaign, to license their activities and avoid any responsibility on the part of the authorities.

On the other hand, he informed that since the beginning of the campaign, 697 mot-taxi drivers and 32 taxi drivers have already been licensed.

In the licensing and registration process, promoted by the Angolan Government, interested parties must, among other documents, present the registration book, vehicle title, driving license and Identity Card (BI).

The free mass campaign for licensing and registration of taxis, motorcycle taxi drivers and artisanal fishing boats is due to end on the 15th of this month.
