Africa-Press – Angola. The Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, travels, this Tuesday, to the province of Zaire, for a 48-hour visit, to the municipality of Mbanza Kongo, where she presides over the 1st Ordinary Session of the National Multisectoral Commission for the Safeguarding of the World Cultural Heritage.
From the work program of the 1st Ordinary Session of the National Multisectoral Commission, among other matters, the “Current status of sites in Mbanza Congo, the “Proposals for the Program of the International Festival of Culture – Festikongo” and the “Plan of Commission Action for the period of 2023”, as well as aspects related to the implementation of the UNESCO Recommendations on the Mbanza Kongo Management Plan.
“Also within the framework of her work agenda in the historic city of Mbanza Kongo, the Vice-President will dedicate herself to visits to places of interest to the Commission”, reads a note from the Institutional Communication and Press Office of the Support Bodies for the Vice-President of the Republic.
