UNITA seeks proximity to Huíla militants

Africa-Press – Angola. The president of UNITA, Adalberto Costa Júnior, said a few days ago, in a meeting with militants in the municipality of Quilengues, 142 kilometers north of the city of Lubango, that the proximity to militants in the most remote areas of the country, in addition to strengthening it , allows to know the main problems.

Adalberto Costa Júnior, who was accompanied by several deputies on the tour to the municipalities of Lubango, Matala and Quilengues, said that “they are going to meet the militants with the objective of transmitting the party’s vision for the future, as well as listening to the citizens what they expect, expectations and challenges”.

When referring to the Executive, the UNITA leader considered it necessary “to sit down to define the strategies of the Education and Health sectors for development, as well as to find consensus that can serve the country”.

According to the politician, the autarchies are an obligatory way to give back the rights of the communities and solve the problems of the governed.

“It is a mistake to think that municipalities should only happen in those points where there is fiscal self-sufficiency”, he considered.

In the municipality of Matala, Adalberto Costa Júnior appealed to the militants to continue to observe the principles of conduct and spirit of citizenship, for the preservation of peace and national reconciliation. When talking about the “State of the Nation, Main Opportunities and Challenges”, he underlined that the country has reached the peace that leads the militant to cultivate a patriotic and tolerance spirit.

He considered that Angola and Angolans are called upon to contribute to development plans, a crucial element in the fight against poverty and social inequalities. “The relevance of youth is essential to put family farming into practice to generate more income and jobs,” she said.

He referred that young people are leaving their areas of origin for the big cities in search of opportunities and they are the same ones who end up demanding better food conditions without first cultivating the land.
