Africa-Press – Angola. The Complete Poetic Work of António Agostinho Neto, classic poems written in different books and periods, was presented to poetry lovers, in Menongue, capital of the province of Cuando Cubango.
It is a collection that brings together in the same book the works “Sagrada Esperança, Renúncia Impossível and Amanhecer”, under the seal and initiative of the António Agostinho Neto Foundation.
The collection has 172 pages and 100 copies were made available to readers of Cuando Cubango, which are being sold at a price of 3,500 kwanzas.
As part of the activities commemorating the centenary of Agostinho Neto, celebrated on September 17, 2022, the book presentation activity took place at the Cuito Cuanavale University.
In his presentation, the first provincial secretary of JMPLA in Cuando Cubango, Severino Sawanda, recalled that Neto’s poetry contains the hope of liberation, the audacity of disalienation that instil the need for human liberating action, plant hope and reap certainties.
