Africa-Press – Angola. The management of 1 ° de Agosto clarifies, in a statement, its exemption from any practice that violates the sporting truth involving some clubs and other football-related agents.
In a statement released on its facebook page, this Monday, the community informs that it was with concern that it became aware of the audio that circulates on social networks, about alleged fraudulent practices.
“Given that our association was quoted in a totally irresponsible and defamatory way, we must reaffirm that the 1st of August is not reviewed or has any relationship with such practices, directly or indirectly”, it reads.
The document explains that the set is made available in a clear and unequivocal way to the entities that are responsible for ascertaining the veracity of the aforementioned facts.
It recalls the club’s contribution to the development of national sport, faithful to its structuring principles, such as discipline and ethics, values that are fundamental in the training project, whose results are visible.
The audios, on digital platforms, involve Bento Kangamba, president of Kabuscorp do Palanca, and Agostinho Tramagal, coach of Académica do Lobito, the “Girabola” National Championship team.
On the sound track, Agostinho Tramagal can be heard saying that he received amounts to facilitate the game in which 1.o de Agosto needed to win and stay in the race for the national title and, on the other hand, he received a proposal from Petro to do the opposite .
Académica ended up winning, 1-0, a result that opened space for Petro de Luanda to tread an isolated path to conquer its 17th national title.
Tramagal also comments on Bento Kangamba’s enticement to allow Kabuscorp do Palanca to win the challenge against Académica do Lobito, in the run-up to the final of the Angola Cup.
On the occasion, Académica eliminated Kabuscorp from Palanca, thanks to a 2-1 victory at Estádio do Buraco, in the province of Benguela.
However, in statements to Platina Line, Agostinho Tramagal denies authorship of the audio and claims to be the victim of a smear campaign.
The training board of Académica do Lobito promises to address the case at a press conference, while Agostinho Tramagal does not respond to attempts by the press to approach it.
