Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, appointed, this Friday, in Luanda, Sebastião Domingos Gunza to the position of Judge Counselor President of the Court of Auditors.
In a Presidential Decree to which press had access, the Head of State reports that the appointment of the new Judge Counselor President of the Court of Auditors arises from the need to fill the position opened with the resignation, in March of the current year, of the then President of the Court of Auditors (TC), Exalgina Renee Vicente Olavo Gambôa.
In another Decree, João Lourenço exonerated Sebastião Domingos Gunza, from the position of Inspector General of State Administration.
Counselor Judges
Also this Friday, the Head of State appointed Sebastião Jorge Diogo Bessa, Manuel da Cruz Neto, Sebastião Domingos Gunza, Armindo Gideão Kunjiquisse Jelembi and Januário José Domingos to the position of Counselor Judges of the Court of Auditors.
The Court of Auditors is the supreme body for overseeing the legality of financial and administrative management acts by the State and other public and private institutions determined by law, in order to ensure the proper use of public resources for the benefit of the Angolan citizen.

In another Decree, João Lourenço appointed Carlos Alberto Cavuquila to the position of Counselor Judge of the Supreme Court.
