Africa-Press – Angola. Economic agents from Cunene province have, since this Friday, the digital platform for the purpose of company certification, adapted by the National Institute of Support to Small and Medium-sized Companies (INAPEM).
On the occasion, INAPEM’s senior technician, Adilson Moniz, said that the platform presented to associations and economic agents, allows interested entrepreneurs and businessmen to certify their activities, from the INAPEM website, without the need to go to the Institute.
With the technological solution found, he added, the process is easier and more decentralized, as any entrepreneur, autonomously, requests the issuance of his certificate, without any bureaucracy.
He stressed that the certification took 30 days, but will now be carried out within an estimated period of 72 hours, so that all the technical conditions for this purpose have been created.
According to the person in charge, the intention is to simplify and decentralize the certification process, as well as to allow businessmen to make requests online.
It also aims at “the expansion of certification services for companies and the introduction of new security mechanisms in the certificate, such as the bar code, as well as that they have access to high tax benefits”, he maintained.
The INAPEM technician explained that, among the benefits, are the reduction of taxes to be paid to the General Tax Administration (AGT) and others, ensuring that every economic agent assiduous and participating in the training activities developed by INAPEM is aware of the great benefits of this important document.
On his turn, the director of the Cunene Economic Development office, Felisberto Hisimongula, said that the new certification instrument will allow INAPEM services to be brought closer to local businessmen and entrepreneurs.
Felisberto Hisimongula said that it was an instrument devised by the Executive that aims to support and improve the provision of public services, removing the barriers that the business class has been facing in the legalization of their businesses.
He clarified that the process derives from a legal instrument set out in Law no 30/11, of September 13, which enshrines INAPEM as an element dedicated to the classification and certification of small, micro and medium-sized companies.
INAPEM in Cunene province has already registered, in its database, a total of 935 certified and controlled companies.
