Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA in the province of Moxico recommended, this Friday, in the municipality of Camanongue, the need to intensify the dissemination of the distribution of gasoline subsidy cards to cover a greater number of taxi drivers and motorcycle taxi drivers.
This recommendation was made during a meeting of the executive committee of the party’s provincial secretariat held in Camanongue, north of the city of Luena, chaired by the first provincial secretary of the MPLA, Ernesto Muangala.
According to the second provincial secretary of the party, Bento Luembe Paulino, who was speaking to the press, the participants at the meeting were informed that in the first phase of the process the province benefited from 207 subsidy cards, however only 60 were raised.
The politician considered it necessary to raise awareness among taxi drivers and motorcycle taxi drivers regarding the licensing process and collection of material.
He added that during the meeting a program and plan for the provincial methodological meeting of the party was appreciated and approved, which will take place on the 28th and 29th of the current month, with the aim of preparing the party’s cadres and leaders for the new challenges facing the country.
Bento Luembe also said that the members of the executive commission were informed about the execution of programs for financing and conversion of the province’s real economy, which aim to create and expand family income and reduce excessive dependence on imports.
