Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA, in Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, encouraged the active participation of youth in rescuing patriotic and citizenship values, to preserve the country’s social stability.

When speaking at the closing ceremony of the VI JMPLA provincial camp in Moxico, which took place in the town of Sacassanje, more than 20 kilometers south of the city of Luena, he recalled that this is the effective way to increase the socioeconomic and political development of Angola.

The politician appealed to more than 500 young people from the nine municipalities of the province, for the need to develop actions in the communities that allow the supervision and care of public assets.

The leader asked the youth to follow the legacies of the historical figures who marked the party’s trajectory, citing António Agostinho Neto and José Mendes de Carvalho “Hoji-ya-Henda” for the transformation of the country, abstaining from illicit practices.

The camp took place under the motto “Youth united in cultural, socioeconomic promotion and the rescue of patriotic values”, where various political, economic, social, cultural activities, among others, were carried out.

The municipality of Bundas, which is 356 kilometers south of the city of Luena, could host the VII JMPLA camp in 2024.
