The National Integrated Ticketing Company (ENBI) launched, in the province of Benguela, the pilot project for the integration of taxis and motorcycle taxis, into the National Integrated Ticketing System (SNBI), with which it signed an agreement with two operators by taxi (Rosalina Express and JW Braz).
According to a press release this Wednesday, the project aims to include taxi and motorcycle taxi services, in order to expand the coverage of the National Integrated Ticketing System (SNBI), as well as improve the transport process, particularly road transport, through the GiraMais pass.
On the sidelines of the event, the document reads, the president of the ENBI Executive Committee, Mário Pedro, said that the expectation is to integrate at least half of the operators available in the province by the end of October, and from November, we intend to issue the respective passes.
In the case of taxi drivers, he considered it to be an innovative project that will help expand the transport offering and attract passengers who do not normally use buses to join the system.
In turn, the director of the Provincial Office of Transport, Traffic and Urban Mobility of Benguela, Katia Cachuco, guaranteed logistical and technical availability for the success of the pilot campaign, pointing out that the province has already made preliminary contacts, as it will also include taxi drivers (Blue and White).
The note also states that the supervisor of Rosalina Expresso, Daniel Severino, said that with SNBI the company will have greater control over operations, a situation that was previously not possible.
