The first municipal secretary of the MPLA in Sumbe (Cuanza Sul), Adérito Jorge, encouraged, this Saturday, the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to continue the political and economic reforms underway in the country, in favor of improving the quality of lives of populations.
When speaking at the end of a march in support of the President of the Republic and the MPLA, João Lourenço, the party leader said that party activists and supporters in Sumbe support the projects implemented by the Executive for the economic and social development of the country.
“We encourage the President of the Republic to continue implementing the economic, political and other reforms that are underway, because we believe that under his leadership the country will certainly find the right path to social stability, towards improving the living conditions of Angolans” , he highlighted.
On the occasion, the municipal administrator of Sumbe said that the local government will continue to invest in the construction of schools, hospitals, roads, water and energy supply systems, among other infrastructures.
During the march, MPLA leaders, cadres, activists and supporters walked through various arteries in the city of Sumbe displaying messages of encouragement to President João Lourenço to continue working for the well-being of the population.
