Africa-Press – Angola. The first Provincial Secretary of the MPLA in Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, reinforced, on Monday, in the village of Cazombo, municipality of Alto Zambeze, the call for the need to safeguard national stability and unity.

The politician, who led a mass political event that took place during Cazombo’s lifetime, defended the need to combat the practice of slander, crime and vandalization of public property, to build a prosperous and developed nation.

For Ernesto Muangala, despite recognizing the economic and financial problems that the country is going through, the MPLA will be able to fulfill its electoral promises, to guarantee the well-being of the population.

Among the actions, the Executive’s commitment to the construction of the National Road (EN/250), on the Marco 25/Cazombo/Lumbala Caquengue section, underway in that region, which could boost economic activity in the region, was highlighted.

The municipality of Alto Zambeze, the largest in the country, is located east of the city of Luena and has an estimated population of 145,330 inhabitants, according to the projection of the National Statistics Institute (INE) for 2023, distributed across six municipalities, namely Cavungo, Macondo, Caianda, Calunda, Lumbala Caquengue, Lóvua, in addition to Cazombo (headquarters).
