Africa-Press – Angola. Angola is available to develop solid partnerships, with a view to ensuring the sustainability of commercial and business relations with Argentina, within the scope of bilateral cooperation.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), this Thursday, the desire was expressed during a meeting between the Angolan ambassador to Argentina, Azevedo Xavier Francisco and a delegation from National Assembly of this South American country, held in Buenos Aires.
The opportunity served for Azevedo Xavier Francisco and Argentine parliamentarians, led by deputy Débora Indarte, to assess the state of cooperation, namely its increase, in areas of investment attraction, with a focus on tourism and agribusiness.
The advances achieved in the areas of construction, housing, macroeconomic stability and the promotion of employment were also highlighted by the Angolan diplomat.
Relations between the governments of Angola and Argentina are considered fruitful, with emphasis on collaboration in the areas of agriculture, industry, energy and infrastructure.
Angola and Argentina have officially established political-diplomatic relations since August 27, 1985, a date that marked the beginning of a fluid institutional relationship with visible benefits for both countries.
In general, relations between the two countries are considered dynamic and diversified, reflected in the fifteen (15) existing legal instruments, highlighting the “General Agreement on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation”, signed on August 27 1985.
