Africa-Press – Angola. This Monday, the Government of Huambo opened a public tender, worth 48 million, 674 thousand 670 Kwanzas, for cleaning and basic sanitation in the Halavala centrality, in the municipality of Bailundo.
In a statement sent, the Government of the province of Huambo informs that the aforementioned public tender, opened under the terms of paragraph 1 of article 67 of Law no 41/20, of 23 December (Public Contracts Law), will until October 30th of this year.
It states that the public contract, with an execution period of 12 renewable months, for urban cleaning, urban waste collection, grass cutting, treatment of public gardens, tree pruning and unblocking gutters, is not open to participation by foreign entities .
To this end, candidates must present the document authorizing the provision of services with a category for that purpose, a license authorizing the exercise of waste management activities, wastewater treatment, a statistical registration certificate and an authenticated copy of the documents of revenue collection.
Regarding the conditions for obtaining the pieces of the competition procedure, competitors must pay 24 thousand 337 Kwanzas, via the Single Reference Payment to the State (RUPE).
This region of the Central Plateau of Angola has three centralities, namely Lossambo, in the municipality of Huambo, opened in 2017, with 2009 houses, occupied by more than 14 thousand people, Fernando Faustino Muteka, available since 2020, in Caála, with 4001 residences and a forecast to house 28 thousand residents, and that of Halavala, in Bailundo, opened in 2022, with 3005 houses, reserved for 21 thousand citizens.
