Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola (CCIA), Vicente Soares, said, in Luanda, that the association’s strategic and organizational audit will allow greater dynamism in the private sector and strengthen economic and commercial relations.

Speaking to the press, in the presentation of the strategic and organizational audit of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola (CCIA) & Medium and Long Term Strategic Plan, he said that the institution will continue to promote actions aimed at contributing to improving the business environment.

According to the person responsible, at a time when the institution celebrates 35 years of existence, it will continue to clarify the role of the private sector, as well as the relationship between the various economic actors.

Vicente Soares highlights that the document on strategic and organizational auditing will allow us to have an idea of ​​“where we left, where we are and where we are going.

The specialist from the International Labor Organization (ILO), Lessina Traore, says that the document presented by the CCIA presents the organization’s strengths and weaknesses, a proposal for medium-term strategic and operational guidelines, internal and external challenges, thus consolidating governance internal to the association.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola (CCIA) was created in 1988, on the initiative of 43 public and private companies, with the aim of bringing together the business class to defend their interests, and sharing efforts with the State, with a view to promoting and strengthen economic and commercial relations with the rest of the world.

The CCIA is a business association with a universe of 5,000 companies present in the country’s 18 provinces.
