Africa-Press – Angola. The Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC) will be available to all businesspeople and individuals in the province of Namibe, interested in joining the financial packages aimed at promoting domestic production, said the president of the institution’s Board of Directors, Luzayadio Simba.
After a hearing granted by the governor of Namibe, Archer Mangueira, the FGC manager said that, during the conversation, he requested support from the local government to mobilize the business class, in order to take advantage of the protocols that the Fund has state to celebrate with banks and other institutions.
These agreements established with banks and other institutions, according to the person responsible, aim to reduce bureaucracy and documentation requirements.
Luzayadio Simba informed that priorities for financing are projects linked to agriculture, fishing, livestock, manufacturing and logistics.
“There is a need to invest in national production, especially in the crops that we still import. Our appeal to the local business community is that funds are available, as the capitalization was made, which amounts to 50 billion and not only that, we also have 120 billion kwanzas available to support the productive sector”, he explained.
He said that on the 26th of the current month, the Credit Guarantee Fund will hold a meeting with local businesspeople to present the Credit Guarantee Acceleration Plan and consult with businesspeople.
“Anyone who has a viable project, whether a company or individual, can qualify for support from the Fund, our commitment is to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) so that they have access to favorable financing conditions from the Bank.
