Africa-Press – Angola. The Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC), created to facilitate access to credit, is available to all entrepreneurs and individuals in Namibe interested in subscribing to financial packages aimed at promoting domestic production.
The information was provided this Thursday by the President of the Board of Directors of the Credit Guarantee Fund, Luzayadio Simba, after an audience with the provincial governor of Namibe, Archer Mangueira.
Luzayadio Simba made it known that projects linked to agriculture, fishing, livestock, manufacturing and logistics are among the priorities.
The official also stated that the FGC requested institutional support from the provincial government to mobilize the business class, in order to take advantage of the protocols signed with commercial banks and other institutions.
“There is a need to invest in national production, especially in the crops that we still import. Our appeal to the local business community is that the fund is available. A capitalization of 50 billion was made and we also have 120 billion kwanzas available to support the productive sector”, he assured.
Luzayadio Simba also said that on the 26th of the current month, the Credit Guarantee Fund will hold a meeting with the local business community, to present the plan to accelerate credit guarantees and consult with businesspeople.
“Anyone who has a viable project, whether a company or individual, can qualify for support from the fund, our commitment is to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) so that they have access to favorable financing conditions from banks.
The official added that the agreements established with banks aim to reduce bureaucracy, with documentation requirements.
