Africa-Press – Angola. A development forum that aims to seek sustainable solutions for the development of the municipality of Porto Amboim, province of Cuanza Sul, takes place Friday, in the district.
At the opening of the event, the municipal administrator of Porto Amboim, Maria Sumano, maintained that we intend to create a more inclusive district, where everyone can help leverage the municipality’s potential.
“We have tourism potential, water resources such as the Longa River and the Queve River, a vast seafront of 80 linear kilometers (….) suitable for production, whose exploration will contribute to the sustainable development of the municipality”, he maintained.
The forum will discuss production, agriculture and industry, the port sector, the role of small and medium-sized companies, their relevance in the growth of the real economy and development of the municipality.
The forum ended yesterday and was part of the festivities marking the 436th anniversary of the city of Porto Amboim, which took place on October 15th.
