Africa-Press – Angola. Five masters in street business, whose mission is to promote actions to combat poverty in communities, were presented this Saturday, in the city of Menongue, province of Cuando Cubango.

This is the first group formed in a three-month period in an entrepreneurship career by the international NGO Interweave Solutions.

These experts will help other citizens learn how to change or develop their own businesses and create plans to improve their homes and communities.

Currently, this NGO establishes programs in more than 44 countries, with the aim of contributing to the fight against hunger and poverty worldwide, training people capable of being self-sufficient, as well as participating in literacy and education programs.

Speaking to the press, at the end of the certificate delivery ceremony, the successful ambassador in the province of Huíla, Job Moniz da Silva Culo, explained that the NGO has its headquarters in the United States of America, it develops these trainings to take people out of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency, mitigating difficulties individually and collectively.

He said that these masters in street business will have the mission of empowering young people in residential areas and other communities, through lectures in churches, schools, projects, to start their own business, be able to employ more people and have efficient management. sustainability of the business itself.

He said that the program is based on three pillars, namely business, home and community.

The official made it known that at Angolan level, 200 masters in street business and 50 successful ambassadors are already controlled, a figure that tends to increase, at a time when the provinces of Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul, Zaire, Uíge, Cabinda are lacking and Moxico.

For his part, the provincial director of services at the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP) in Cuando Cubango, Xavier Tchicuata, praised the NGO’s initiative, for joining the government’s efforts and contributing to the employability of young people in this region of the country.
