Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, is currently speaking to the Nation, at the Solemn Opening Session of the Parliamentary Year 2023-2024 of the V Legislature of the National Assembly.
Present at the session, in addition to deputies, are the president of the Supreme Court, Joel Leonardo, the president of the Constitutional Court, Laurinda Cardoso, the vice-president of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, assistants from the Executive Branch, members of the Diplomatic Corps and representatives of international organizations accredited in Angola, representatives of Civil Society, among different national and foreign individuals.
This is the seventh time that President João Lourenço has presented the Message on the State of the Nation to parliament, in compliance with a constitutional imperative.
