Africa-Press – Angola. Two hundred and 56 complaints of a diverse nature were registered, in the period from July to September of this year, by the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE) in Cunene, 220 more in relation to the same previous period.

The complaints, via the so-called “call center”, resulted in the creation of 11 cases linked to administrative irregularities, carrying out duties without receiving a salary, poor service in institutions, discounts on salaries and unfairly scheduling absences.

In a statement, the IGAE delegate in Cunene, Moisés Sovi, said that the population has been gaining a culture of complaints, motivated by asset recovery actions.

He explained that, in this last aspect, four vehicles allocated to the provincial Health office were recovered, which were in the possession of employees and some responsible persons improperly.

In relation to inspection activities, he recalled that there were 30 inspections of the various projects under construction within the scope of PIIM and combating poverty, Kwenda and Simplifica, in the municipalities of Cuanhama, Ombadja and Cahama.

“These actions resulted in the production of several recommendations to administrations in order to address the said irregularities”, he stated.

Moisés Sovi highlighted that, in the same period, three inspection actions of a general nature were carried out, together with the Health Office and the municipal administrations of Namacunde and Cuanhama.

The IGAE is an auxiliary body of the Executive with the objective of carrying out internal administrative control of the public administration, through inspection, inspection, audit, supervision, control, inquiry and investigations of all bodies, bodies and services of the direct and indirect administration of the State, as well as autonomous administrations.

IGAE, created on January 17, 1992, is an auxiliary body of the President of the Republic, with the mission of carrying out internal control of public administration.
