Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, traveles to Nairobi, Republic of Kenya, on Thursday (19), at the invitation of his counterpart William Ruto, for a two-day state visit.
According to the Secretary of the President of the Republic for Institutional Communication and Press, Luís Fernando, the Angolan Statesman will carry out a visit with two essential moments, and on Friday (20), the first day, he will participate in an act of national celebration in open field (Football Stadium) as a guest of the authorities of this country, alongside President William Ruto.
On Saturday (21), the second day of the visit, an activity will take place at the Presidential Palace, in Nairobi, with talks between the two Heads of State and their respective delegations, and there will also be a tribute to the “founding father of Kenya”, Jomo Kenyatta, with the laying of a wreath at his Mausoleum, in an atmosphere of solemnity.
According to the program, this will be the last activity of the Angolan statesman, who will leave the city of Nairobi on Saturday (21) and return to the country.
