Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA, Manual Homem, called today, in the Urban district of Morro dos Veados, municipality of Belas, for the reinforcement of unity, cohesion and party discipline.
Manuel Homem, who was speaking at the inauguration of the MPLA committee in the Mundial neighborhood, took the opportunity to appeal to activists to maintain the speech on the State of the Nation, given by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, in the National Assembly, as a document for political debate, as it has concrete guidelines on government actions.
“In his speech on the State of the Nation, the President addressed what the party is doing in relation to the province of Luanda, referring to the structuring projects to be developed in the areas of health, energy and water”, he highlighted.
Manuel Homem said he has information that projects are underway in the Mundial neighborhood to install energy transformation stations, public lighting, earthworks and access to drinking water, hence the need for activists to remain firm in defending the party leader.
The MPLA leader in Luanda took advantage of the occasion to invite the militants to join the mass march in support of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, scheduled for October 21st.
The inaugurated committee has meeting rooms and support offices.
