Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, is meeting, this Saturday, in Nairobi, with his Kenyan counterpart, William Ruto, to discuss issues of bilateral interest, with emphasis on strengthening economic cooperation between both countries.
João Lourenço, on an official visit to Kenya since Thursday, at the invitation of his counterpart, was formally welcomed at the State House, Presidential Palace, with 21 cannon salutes and reviewed the troops on parade.
Meanwhile, delegations from both countries are working on the details of the agreements to be signed to strengthen bilateral relations.
Before leaving Nairobi, President João Lourenço goes to the Mausoleum of Jomo Kenyatta, first President of Kenya, to pay tribute to the late Statesman.
