Africa-Press – Angola. Deputies from the MPLA Parliamentary Group will participate from (Monday), in Luanda, in training on the foundations of the General State Budget (OGE).

Speaking to the press, deputy Kilamba Van-dunem, vice president of the MPLA Parliamentary Group for the Economic and Productive area, stated that the event, lasting two years, aims fundamentally to prepare parliamentarians on how to deal with the OGE proposal, which will be admitted in the next few days.

He pointed out that the training action aims to train deputies to assess the budget proposal, its strengths and weaknesses, to better judge the registration of projects, programs and budget appropriations.

According to the parliamentarian, the proposals must be seen from the perspective of predicting what is eventually in the MPLA’s governance program.

“The continuity of the projects, which are ongoing, always aiming to improve the living conditions of the populations”, highlighted the deputy.

Deputy Kilamba Van-dunem highlighted, on the occasion, the importance of training parliamentarians and recognized that training is a continuous learning process.

The workshop will discuss, among other points, “Budgetary balance”, “Main fiscal functions”, “Budget supervision” and “Taxation limit”.
