Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan ambassador to Argentina, Azevedo Xavier Francisco, carried out an inspection visit to the medicines multinational “Laboratory ELEA” this Tuesday, as part of attracting investment and transferring technology for production in Angola.
A note from the Angolan diplomatic mission in Buenos Aires indicates that the diplomat covered all areas and learned about the operation of this multinational, which researches, develops and produces medicines for various medical specialties.
“We will do everything in our power so that ELEA and the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Angola (AIPEX) go hand in hand for the good of the economy of both countries”, assured the ambassador during a meeting with the director of new business at the leading pharmaceutical products company in Argentina, Mário Foglia.
According to the note, the visit followed an audience that the Angolan diplomat granted, last August, to the CEO of the ELEA group, Gustavo Pelizzardo.
Headquartered in Buenos Aires, ELEA annually produces more than 60 million different pharmaceuticals and is represented in several countries.
