Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) were, this Friday, urged to raise their levels of quality, efficiency and effectiveness, to better perform in the missions assigned to them.
The exhortation was made by the Minister of National Defense and Veterans of the Fatherland, João Ernesto dos Santos “Liberdade”, during the patenting and inauguration ceremony of some general officers and admirals of the FAA, recently promoted to new military posts.
The governor maintained that with dedication and commitment, everyone will be able to contribute, increasingly better, to the continuation of the process of modernization and resizing of the Armed Forces.
At the ceremony, witnessed by different entities, 33 general officers and admirals were appointed, with 21 promoted.
