Africa-Press – Angola. Thirty-two clothing stores were consumed by the fire that broke out in the early hours of Saturday, at the Asa Branca market, located in the municipality of Cazenga, Luanda province.
The director of the Institutional Communication and Press Office of the Cazenga administration, Divaldo Gomes, explained that the large fire affected all clothing stores.
He said that the fire department team is still on site fighting the fire, the causes of which are yet to be determined.
The municipality is made up of six urban districts, namely, Cazenga Popular, Kima Kieza, 11 de Novembro, Tala Hadi, Hoji Ya Henda and Calawenda.
It has an estimated population of two million inhabitants and a territorial area of 41.2 square kilometers.
