Africa-Press – Angola. The general coordinator of the CASA-CE Coalition, Manuel Fernandes, assessed, in Cabinda, over the last three days, the internal life of the basic structures of political formation, as well as the socio-economic situation of the province.
In the “enclave”, since Sunday, Manuel Fernandes was received by the governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, with whom he held a brief working meeting at the local palace, where he was informed about the current social, economic and political reality of the region.
The CASA-CE delegation also held working meetings with activists in the province to analyze the level of post-election actions and improve the organization of the local structure, as well as reunify efforts and maintain action committees in the municipalities.
Also noteworthy are the hearings with the commanders of the Cabinda Military Region and the National Police, representatives of churches and traditional authorities.
At the end of the assessment visit, the political leader said that it served to recover energy within the activists, in order to restore hope and continue the fight in search of better results in the next elections.
In the V General Elections, held on August 24, 2022, according to definitive results, CASA-CE did not elect any deputy, obtaining 0.76 percent, equivalent to 47,446 votes.
