Africa-Press – Angola. The registration process for the acquisition of an apartment in the Teresa Afonso Gomes centrality, in Caxito, Bengo province, begins this Tuesday, the Provincial Government informed today.
Registration will take place until Friday (22), and candidates must go to the CEFOMAC (Açucareira) facilities with the necessary documentation.
They must present a copy of their identity card, a declaration of service from the employer stating their role, date of commencement of their activity, bank details (iban) and a minimum salary of 122 thousand Kwanzas.
In this process open to the public, 73 apartments are available, the draw for which will take place this Saturday (23), at the Dande municipal stadium.
The provincial director of social communication, Francisco Alexandre, explained that of the 486 housing units completed in this first phase (out of the thousand planned), six homes were made available for each of the six municipalities of Bengo (Ambriz, Bula Atumba, Dande, Dembos, Pango Aluquém and Nambuangongo).
Public service institutions, public and private companies, youth platforms, former combatants, health (doctors) and defense and security bodies were also covered.
The apartments will be acquired in the form of resoluble rent, lease and cash payment.
Inaugurated by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, Centralidade Teresa Afonso Gomes (in honor of the heroine who participated in the process of national liberation struggle) included, in the first phase, the construction of 80 buildings, of which 72 house shops and 486 homes, eight of which are single-story houses, as well as health and police posts and a 24-room primary school.
This is the second housing project in the province of Bengo, after the Capari Centrality which came into operation with four thousand housing units.
