Africa-Press – Angola. The Sporting de Cabinda team achieved at the Tafe Stadium, in this city, the third victory in the National Football Championship of the I division, Girabola’2023/24, this time against Petro de Luanda, by 2-5, in the continuation of the 10th round.
The remaining heavy results were imposed by 1o de Agosto (5-1) for the fifth round and by Sagrada Esperança, also, for the same outcome, in the ninth round, in games played at the Coqueiros stadium, in Luanda.
In this afternoon’s match at the Tafe Municipal Stadium, the “oilers” were much more efficient in their plays and in the first minute, Vanilso was touched in the penalty area, which resulted in a penalty taken by Tiago Azulão.
Afterwards, the “lions” reacted to the goal and tried to counter the national champions, but in a move by Gilberto, in the 23rd minute, they increased (2-0).
After 38′, Tiago Azulão increased the visitors’ lead to 3-0, a result that lasted until half-time.
At the restart, after a well-deserved rest, the visiting team scored another penalty goal, through Gilberto, in the 68th minute, and in reaction, the hosts reduced it in the 80th minute, through Anderson, who knew how to take advantage of a defensive failure contrary.
Due to the tone of the goal, the “oil players” managed to score another goal and almost at the end of the game, Tó Carneiro increased to 5-1.
In the added time (90+1), Sporting de Cabinda’s forward, Anderson, took advantage of a false start by goalkeeper Hugo Marques and scored twice, making the score 2-5.
