Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, for convenience of service, terminated, this Wednesday, the term of office of Joaquim António de Sousa Fernandes, as executive administrator of the Board of Directors of SONANGOL-EP.
Also for convenience of service, the term of office of Belarmino Emílio Chitangueleca, as administrator of the Board of Directors of the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency, was also terminated.
However, in accordance with a presidential decree, Belarmino Emílio Chitangueleca was appointed to the position of executive administrator of the Board of Directors of SONANGOL-EP.
The Sociedade Nacional de Combustíveis de Angola (SONANGOL) is a public company in the oil sector, responsible for the administration and exploration of oil and natural gas in Angola.
