Africa-Press – Angola. The coach of Sagrada Esperança, Roque Sapiri, said (Wednesday), in the country’s capital, that his team was harmed in the draw (0-0) against Petro de Luanda, in a match on the 5th round of the National Football Championship (Girabola2023/24).
Speaking to the press, at the end of the game, played at Estádio dos Coqueiros, the coach said that what happened was not justified, despite respecting Petro, in that his team was up to the task.
“Our objective in the game was to win the three points. Sagrada must receive the same treatment as other teams at Girabola. Which in my understanding has not happened,” he said.
He added that, there were so many yellow cards on his team’s side, but the opponent also committed many fouls, which should have been sanctioned.
The game was not played at the time, due to Petro de Luanda’s involvement in the African Champions League.
