Africa-Press – Angola. The commander of the Cabinda Military Region, lieutenant general, Tukikebi Tussem dos Santos, guided, on Friday, the strengthening of institutional collaboration in combating cross-border crimes.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 20th Annual Review Meeting, of the Cabinda Military Region Command, he said that collaboration between state institutions and defense bodies is fundamental for the maintenance of peace, political and military stability and the execution of projects of social impact.

He urged FAA personnel to act with responsibility, patriotism and a spirit of mission in combating gold mining, timber, fuel trafficking and other crimes of an economic nature that seriously harm the country’s economy.

On the other hand, it drew the attention of commanders and chiefs at various levels of the military hierarchy to the behavior of some agents, especially young people, who display content on social networks that, in some cases, undermine the good name of the Angolan Armed Forces.

Tukikebi Tussen dos Santos recommended the revitalization of sporting, cultural and leisure activities in the units, involving all military personnel.
