Africa-Press – Angola. The governor of Cuanza-Norte, João Diogo Gaspar, appointed, this Monday, Santos Augusto Mussamo to the position of general secretary of the Provincial Government.
Santos Augusto Mussumo replaces Epifânio Sérgio da Costa Miranda, who held the position since September 2023.
Mário Cristóvão was also appointed as deputy director of the Governor’s Office, Paulino Daniel Miala (advisor for Technical Services and Infrastructure), Marcelina Ribeiro (adviser for Economic Services) and Xavier Kenevala Colonial (secretary of the Governor’s Office).
According to a note from the institution, distributed to the media, the governor dismissed Mayamba Salazar, director of the Provincial Social Communication Office, and Ramos Matias Gaspar, director of the Human Resources Office.
The governor also ended the service commission of Domingos Mfintu Manso, from the position of secretary of the Governor’s Office of the province, Feliciana Ângela Kassanda, deputy director of the Governor’s Office, and Cananito Alexandre Pedro, head of the Government’s Public Procurement department Provincial.
These are the first changes made by the governor of Cuanza Norte, since he was sworn in, on January 19th of the current year.
João Diogo Gaspar, the 12th governor of the province since 1976, has dedicated special attention to the education, health, basic sanitation and agriculture sectors, through interaction with the population and field visits.
