Africa-Press – Angola. The new judge of the generic jurisdiction room in the municipality of Chinguar, in the province of Bié, Adão Bilhete, wants to speed up the proceedings, as well as uphold the principles of responsibility and impartiality.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony with local government authorities, magistrates and the population of Chinguar, Adão Bilhete highlighted that the idea also aims to ensure that justice is taken into its own hands, ensuring the thorough assessment of all processes.
Therefore, he promised to zealously meet the new challenges, with the collaboration of various bodies involved in the administration of justice in this municipality.
In turn, the deputy municipal administrator of this location for the Technical and Communities sector, Silvano Mucanda, called on the new judge to enforce the Constitution of the Republic and other laws in force in the country, in order to achieve justice and well-being of populations.
Adão Bilhete replaces judge Rosa dos Santos, transferred to perform the same functions at the Cuito District Court.
The municipality of Chinguar already has two prosecutors who are responsible for the criminal action or procedural instruction that they introduce in Court, as well as ensuring compliance with legality in that territory.
The province of Bié, central Angola, has 12 judges, distributed in the districts of Cuito, Andulo and Camacupa.
