The municipal administrator of Chitato, Lunda-Norte province, Cláudio Muteba, assured this Wednesday that his administration will this year reinforce support for entrepreneurial initiatives, with the aim of promoting self-employment, thus mitigating , the unemployment rate in the district.
Speaking to the press, regarding the projects included in the Local Development and Poverty Combat Program (PDLCP), the person in charge made it known that the administration will provide professional kits to some young people with professional training to develop their own businesses.
He said that the entrepreneurship promotion program provides for the promotion of professional training in various specialties and in business management.
He added that the administration will also, within the framework of the PDLCP, intensify support for the family farming promotion program, as well as improve basic sanitation in the city of Dundo, expand the school network, among other actions.
In relation to the Integrated Municipal Intervention Plan (PIIM), he said that five schools are being implemented and are nearing completion, three with seven classrooms and two with 12 classrooms and the requalification of sidewalks in the city of Dundo.
He informed that so far three police stations have been opened, adding that as part of the financial rebalancing, four more projects linked to the Education and Health sectors have been registered.
