Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, received this Wednesday, in Luanda, the Belgian ambassador to Angola, Stephane Doppagne, to analyze the increase in bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two entities discussed, among other issues, the need to hold political consultations between the heads of diplomacy of both States and the exchange of visits at the highest level, says a press release.
The Belgian ambassador took advantage of the moment to talk about his country’s “diplomatic agenda”, focused on supporting coordination and regional initiatives aimed at peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Stephane Doppagne said that Belgium appreciates the efforts made by Angola, in the person of President João Lourenço, to do everything possible to normalize relations between Rwanda and the DRC.
For his part, Minister Téte António is of the opinion that peace in eastern DRC must be built with the joint effort of all forces of good will, who consider war to be an evil for societies.
The Kingdom of Belgium is a country located in northwestern Europe, known for its rich history and diverse culture, as well as being a colonizing kingdom of the DRC.
