Africa-Press – Angola. Angola’s ambassador to Indonesia, Florêncio de Almeida, highlighted on Wednesday (20), in Luanda, the importance of creating a new dynamic in cooperation relations between the two countries, in the most varied aspects and domains of business life.
Florêncio de Almeida made these references when speaking during a courtesy meeting with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Multilateral Investments of Angola – Indonesia, Mateus de Brito, which served to balance the current state of bilateral relations and outline specific strategies towards of its increase and improvement.
According to the Angolan diplomat, “it is necessary to create production chains that value national resources, as well as attract investments that strengthen national production, especially in the sectors of fishing, agriculture, commerce, oil and mineral resources, tourism, among others”.
In turn, the President of the Angola-Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Investment considered the moment to be one of action, highlighting the need to identify business opportunities and bring potential Indonesian investors to the country.
Diplomat Florêncio de Almeida is Angola’s first ambassador to this Asian country, since the end of 2023, and with the opening of the Diplomatic Representation it is intended that relations between the two countries will be accelerated, taking into account the set of objectives of mutual interest already identified.
