Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, congratulated Luís Filipe Montenegro, appointed Prime Minister of Portugal, thanks to the electoral victory of the coalition he led in the recent early legislative elections.
In his letter, João Lourenço highlights the cultural proximity and consanguinity between the two peoples.
He states that Portugal and Angola are compelled to always go hand in hand and work in search of the best solutions in favor of social progress and economic development in our countries.
Luís Filipe Montenegro was appointed prime minister this week by President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, after the victory obtained by the Democratic Alliance (AD), in the last elections on March 10, 2024.
