Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Angola Solidarity Support Movement (Movangola), António Alcino Sawanga, reiterated, in Caxito, Bengo province, his support for initiatives that aim to help families in need.
The official who spoke at the inauguration of the organization’s new provincial secretary, Almeida Pedro, said that, for this year, Movangola has, among other challenges, working with communities, responding to social actions.
He said that the appointment of the new secretary comes at an essential time, taking into account the movement’s various challenges.
The person in charge asked the newly appointed person for greater responsibility, engagement and collaboration with the provincial government and municipal administrations for the success of the activities.
As part of social aid and solidarity actions, the movement delivered various medicines to the municipal hospital.
Movangola is an institution whose main objective is to help families in need and social institutions in difficulties.
